A Life-Changing Device: My Electric Bike
Just hit 500 miles on my electric bike. That’s 500 miles not spent driving our gas-guzzling hybrid SUV. And it’s much cheaper to maintain than a second family car. This thing will pay for itself by the end of the year.
I did wear out the brake pads on the hydraulic brakes, so I guess that’s a $15 expense every three months. Watched a YouTube video to figure out how to replace them.

Spent a great deal of time researching before purchasing my first electric bike - while not knowing that our neighbor has designed bikes for several companies and could have given me free advice! Anyway - he approved of my choice. These things can be very expensive but I got one I’m really happy with on the low-ish end of the price range.
