A Tasty Snack from Trader Joe's
Trader Joe’s is known for their array of tasty processed frozen junk food. Their mini vegetable samosas did not disappoint. I sprinkled them with olive oil and garam masala before cooking and served them with some yogurt and cucumber salad.
Of course, there is a catch. A downside. A glass half empty realization. With fat comes flavor and these are high in fat and even contain some saturated fat. Off the charts sodium content too.
I’m trying to get one of our teens to stop eating so much junk and lately she’s been liking Indian food which is theoretically healthy if made fresh. Her favorite dish? Butter chicken - basically spicy chicken with heavy cream. At least she’s on the right path with that genre of food.
