Followers of our Instagram page know that I love to augment frozen supermarket pizza with extra ingredients. Recently added greek olives, onions, bell peppers and smoked gouda cheese to a Freschetta™ pizza manufactured by Schwan’s, a giant food production and distribution corporation.
Very delicious junk food and not scary unless you read the list of ingredients. Smoke flavoring is poison, for starters. I could easily eat this entire pizza but the label says there are five servings. That means someone eating the whole thing would be getting 205% of their daily allowance of sodium.
L-cysteine “is obtained industrially by hydrolysis of animal materials, such as poultry feathers or hog hair” and is banned in Europe.
Look for more posts about me augmenting healthy processed foods (an oxymoronic term?) in the future. Or posts about whole grains, fresh fruit and vegetables, and fish. It could happen.

This one I am sending to the kids.
