Hosing Down the Homeless
Yesterday in Seattle’s Chinatown International District - a guy hosing down a tent.
I am reminded of the San Francisco art gallery owner caught on video spraying a homeless woman with water. He was shamed online by millions of people and forced to close his gallery.
I went back later and the tent was gone.
Imagine losing your home and then being evicted over and over again while trying to survive on the streets.
Maybe the City of Seattle should get the fire department involved with their forced evictions, which they call “sweeps.” As in - sweeping away the filth. Rhetoric used by the Nazis.
