Captain Beefheart Would Have Loved These Beef Hearts

Served low quality quarter pound beef patties the other night. Most ground beef does not contain hearts. The patties threw off a lot of grease.

Not every meal in your life is going to be great. Especially if you are dining at a soup kitchen’s nightly meal service, where the “chef” had to show up at the last minute and throw something together for 150 people.

I think we ran out of mashed potatoes (from potato flakes) and a volunteer had to throw another pan together quickly. Not a pretty sight.
