I No Longer Covet the Taxidermied Crab
One problem with having a functioning brain that it is always coming up with new ideas and many of those ideas are bad.
It’s been a while since Mutual Fish closed. I once thought that it would be a good move to ask the owners if I could buy the taxidermied crab that is still mounted on the wall in the now empty building.
Now I realize that the presentation is not that impressive. A modest Alaskan red king crab mounted on a piece of wood and framed with some trap line.
After decades of absorbing the smells of a fish market this thing probably doesn’t smell good.
