Made a rack of St. Louis style pork ribs for Halloween because the pig is a very popular food animal for humans and their anatomy is similar to ours and that’s scary.
Broiled the ribs to give them some color, after a liberal dose of salt and pepper, of course. Then covered them tightly with foil and cooked them at 200 degrees for three hours. Doused them with store-bought barbecue sauce.
At $3.99 a pound this is an affordable treat that will easily serve several hungry goblins. Pumped out a side of ghoulish mashed potatoes squeezed through the ricer. No veggies tonight, just candy.
