Our 53 subscribers will be happy to hear that the Nirvana WOK email newsletter will now be coming out every Wednesday, at 11:11 AM. The posts will be longer and will contain more content submitted from readers. If a post is too long for email it’s automatically truncated and a link is created for those who want to read the whole thing.

Friend of the blog Elaine sent us this image of veggie dogs wrapped in veggie bacon. I would eat this but I wouldn’t call it a hot dog. Veggie bacon can be quite good - our bodies crave salt.

Cream cheese on a veggie dog. Only in Seattle! And probably Portland, too.

Was down in Renton and stopped by DK Market. I might be repeating myself but any store that Eastern Europeans frequent is gonna have the best cucumbers and eggplant.
