The boat used to be Pho Bac but now Pho Bac is in the building behind it. I’m not sure if the Boat is still doing chicken rice.
I ate at Pho Bac long ago on my wedding day with my friend Ben, who was in his full Navy dress uniform. Got stung by a bee shortly thereafter but it turned out to be a good thing. Not sure if it was the bee venom or the Sriracha but it was a hot day and I remained as cool as a cucumber. Still married.
