Raw ground beef on rye is a once-a-year indulgence for me.
Buttered rye bread, Oregon Country Beef 85/15 ground beef, salt, pepper and thin-sliced red onions. It goes without saying that you would not want to do this with the low quality ground beef sold at American supermarkets.
Eating ground beef this way is healthier than eating a grilled hamburger sandwich. I wish I could eat this every day but as a rule I try to stay away from cow meat.
