Recipe: Chicken Casserole

This hearty casserole is simple comfort food that people of all political persuasions can agree on. Serve with fresh squeezed lemon and the hot sauce of your choice.

To heavily buttered pan add:

2 cups frozen peas
1 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 cups broiled chicken
ground pepper, granulated garlic, paprika and oregano

Mix and cook at 375 degrees until you see the juices on the bottom of the pan sizzling. If you want you can broil it for a few minutes to get a caramelized top layer.

For tuna casserole substitute cream of mushroom for cream of chicken, tuna for chicken and add 1/2 cup crumbled Lay’s potato chips to mix and to top.
