Seafair 2024 Was Awesome
Been a critic of Seafair since the Stealth bomber flew over us as we were crossing Lake Washington, in 1991. Lived in the neighborhood where Seafair is staged since 2004.

And this year it was a wonderful experience! People of all ages, races, and financial situations gathered to watch speedboats and military aircraft flyovers. Three days of incredibly perfect weather. Spent a great deal of time crusing around on my bike, absorbing the peaceful vibes.
The dogs don’t like the Blue Angels F/A-18 Super Hornet planes roaring hundreds of feet above our house but again, it’s only for three days.
Some of my neighbors are assholes, though. Using trash cans to block a public street for the one weekend of the year when someone might park there? Placing a crazy note on someone’s windshield because they are parked legally on a public street in front of your house? Selfish, weird and crazy.
