A new temporary shantytown (or tent city, encampment, etc.) has sprung up on MLK street and I delivered some hot spinach pie there yesterday. Typical setup with a volunteer at the entrance and a food tent nearby. There were multiple trays of food there, probably donated from a catered event but also clearly sitting out since the night before.

My favorite Thai market/wholesaler Mekong Rainier was having a food festival this weekend. The smell of those Thai ingredients being grilled and fried was incredible.
