Turkey Chili with Pinto Beans

Thirty pounds of ground turkey with some Amazon Fresh™ bay leaves that came in a plastic clamshell.

Chef’s special turkey chili with pinto beans served with fruit salad, coleslaw and cake. The fruit salad was 90 percent sliced apples with a random can of cherries and a random can of apricots thrown in to add some sugary goodness.

We use cafeteria trays now instead of paper plates, which will save $5,000 annually.

I posted a note on our bulletin board saying that we are ALWAYS looking for donations of spices and condiments. A good chili needs more spice than just onion powder and chili powder. Would have loved to have had some cumin on hand.
