Cucumber Salad with Sichuan Pepper
Add a thinly sliced cucumber to sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, salt and sugar. Toast a small amount of Sichuan Pepper in a pan and grind. Sprinkle on top of cucumbers and serve.
I figured out how to make no mess no fuss potato chips without deep frying them. Slice potatoes — and without doing any brining, soaking, spicing or drying — toss in olive oil and bake for 25 or so minutes on parchment paper. Sprinkle with salt and or spices. The ones in the photo here are a little overcooked but were still delicious.
