Imagining a newspaper (published by me) that had the resources to follow up on all my ideas for articles and that was not beholden to big money interests.
A one time gift from a cartoonishly evil billionaire (which is all of them) would provide the endowment and interest from that cash would pay our staff of investigative journalists.
First story on our list of projects: how much carbon is burned by people idling at the fast food drive through? Crunch the nationwide data, publish, maybe shame some people into getting their lazy asses out of their gas guzzlers and dragging themselves into the restaurant.

I think that people in the drive thru line are most often people on their way to work, or workers getting lunch. Time is the issue--you spend less of it if you remain in your car, and then eat your meal as you drive.
