I think that people in the drive thru line are most often people on their way to work, or workers getting lunch. Time is the issue--you spend less of it if you remain in your car, and then eat your meal as you drive.

three crimes in one meal - wasting gas, eating junk food and eating in your car, which is gross and also distracted driving

Because capitalism.

Have u ever eaten in yr car?

I know u eat junk food. The wasting gas part, r u? I understand idle to be more efficient than power up, power down.

yes i've used a car and eaten junk food ... in a better world we'd be having two hour lunches with our friends and family instead of experiencing the existential situation seen in the photo here
