Think Tempura and add other veggies like mushrooms, broccoli, cauliflower , thin sliced yams, carrots, and I use Safflower oil. You need a light oil so it doesn’t burn or smoke as you know! Deep fried is for special dinners other wise I shallow fry things like French fries which I ain’t got time to double fry. And they are great!👍🏽
