I never buy salad dressing unless out in the sticks with no other options. I do add sugar to my dressing and sometimes honey or left over home made jam…you know when you still have some in the jar but want Marionberry on your morning toast instead of left over Raspberry .. So good and even with sweetness .. But Balsamic a good one will be sweet enough for me. I use EVOO, Dijon, salt, very good white vinegar from PFI and some sweetness whip it up or put I. A jar and shake the shit out of it. I don’t understand the fear of soy my bust has not gotten bigger😇😇😇

The New York Times has published a number of recipes for salad dressing, few ingredients. We like Craig ClIrborne's Blue Cheese Dressing recipe. No more aged bottles going gross in fridge door.
